There’s so much to experience in the Carondelet Neighborhood.
RECREATION, DINING, ENTERTAINMENT & CULTURE
Obviously, Carondelet Park is our wonderfully curated gift-of-nature right next door. The rec center, boat house and paths are hard to beat, even by St Louis standards. But look around—there’s shopping choices; fun, local dining spots; entertainment and more. Let’s scroll around the place, shall we?
Public Spaces – Carondelet Park (179 acres with a boathouse, pool, rec center, tennis courts, ball field and a playground); Flower Patch at Federer, and the Holly Hills Community Garden (requires membership).
Food – Urban Eats Cafe, The Stellar Hog (bbq), Royal Kabob (mediteranean), Tenacious Eats (hip, vegan options), Cecil Whittaker’s Pizzeria, Stacked Burger Bar, and MJ’s on the Park (wings!)
Music/Entertainment – The Sinkhole (live music venue & studio), Carondelet Park Summer Music series, MyCityMyMusic (studio and radio station) and The Ivory Theatre.
Shopping – Schnucks, Lowes, Walgreens, and Dollar General Store
There’s also great schools and more within blocks of Intrada. Feel free to explore the Carondelet Neighborhood and Holly Hills sites for attractions and upcoming events. And remember: most everything listed is walking distance—but hopping on public transit is just as easy, like the 73 Carondelet city bus (or ‘Hipster line’, if you ask a local).
